The Halloween Trick-or-Treat Swap is now officially closed.
We had 24 people to sign up. I'm still waiting for the mailing address from one person, then I will assign partners.
I'll e-mail you your swap partner as soon as I complete my list.
If you signed up for this swap in haste and are now having second thoughts, this is the time to speak up. If you're as excited about it as I am, though, carry on.
Remember, you will make one handmade item for your partner. Doesn't have to be sewing/fabric; it can be anything handmade. To that, you'll add at least three other items which can be purchased or handmade. All must follow the Halloween theme. Your mail deadline will be October 15.
Finally, I'll leave you with this astonishing obituary. Let us all be grateful that we have friends and family who love us. (Click on the newspaper clipping to read.)

That obit is very sad...I do appreciate you sharing that with us. I do see she lost a husband and two children along the way....she did have sadness in her life and some never overcome that.
Oh, I can't wait to see what you all make and share for Halloween. I will have to watch for the next swap.....how fun!

Wow! That was powerful. Sadly, as a volunteer hospital chaplain, I have encountered this kind of anger and grief. It was probably very healing for her family to publish this. I hope publishing this obituary eventually helps them find their way to Love.
Thank you for sharing this.
