A Blueberry Morning, Becoming Afternoon

Pancake 1 This morning, I made blueberry pancakes in honor of Father's Day. I make ugly pancakes. They always look more like brown amebas (amebae?) than pancakes. But these were darn tasty.

Pancake 2

Dinner is planned for Fish Market Restaurant, probably Vann's favorite eating establishment.

Many of you have taken part in this meme that I found on Andrea's blog. I thought it would be fun this Sunday morning to do it myself.

1.  What I was doing 10 years ago: I was senior craft editor for a publisher of quilting and craft books. I lived in the same place I live now, but I did not have fibromyalgia. I could still walk without it hurting.

2.  What are five things on your to do list for today?  Same five that were on yesterday's To-Do List, and then some. But here are five (which I probably won't get done today). 1) Finish Falicia's blue quilt top. 2) Put binding on Andy's green quilt. 3) Take a shower (I hope I get this one done.) 4) Gather ties for Damie and blankets for Pat to take to Guild tomorrow. 5) Make Peggy's president's quilt block to take to guild tomorrow.

3.  Snacks I enjoy:  Cereal and milk, sesame sticks, apples slices with peanut butter, baby carrots and ranch dressing, tortilla chips with guacamole, cheese and crackers with wine, tomato sandwich.

4.  Places I've lived:  Leeds, Alabama; Birmingham, Alabama; Gadsden, Alabama; Thibodeaux, Louisiana; Jacksonville, Florida; Prattville, Alabama; Trussville, Alabama. During my first marriage, we moved at least 35 times in 20 years. I've lived in The Yellow House for 12 years, longer than I've ever lived in one place in my whole life.

5.  Things I would do if I were a billionaire.  Hide.

If you're reading this, consider yourself tagged--but only if you want to be.

How come your snack list is so healthy? For a southern girl like you I expected to see peach pie at least.

Susan, you made me laugh describing your pancakes. I bet they were quite tasty. I am not much of a sweet eater in the morning, but I do like pecan pancakes on occasion. I just have to have something like bacon or sausage to offset the sweet.

I love your answer to number five the best. Smart lady you are.
