If right this very moment, Susan, I could take you for a long walk behind the curtains of time and space and reveal to you all that you cannot now see...the magic and miracles of creation, the secrets and mysteries of the past, the countless forgotten friendships you've made, the rainbows and waterfalls of the cosmos and all of the adventures that will one day sweep you off your feet...do you know what would eventually surprise you the most?
How homesick you'd be for all you now have...drama included.
Your rock,
The Universe

Go, Universe! I, for one, could stand to stop worrying so much about the drama in my current life, stop aching for the 80s (my favorite decade) and start ac-cent-u-at-ing the positive!

Reminds me of Edna Millay's poem, "The Blue-Flag in the Bog." (Flag, as in wild iris)

What a brilliant post! The way you did the typeface it was almost like Darth Vader speaking. I got a heck of a kick out of it.
I don't know what is going on in front of the curtains but Buddha would say, "Be here now."
