As my friend Barbara suggested, I did another thing. This is last week's block for what I have downsized from a full-size quilt to a table runner, at the suggestion of another friend Debra. Today I plan to make a third block. Wish me luck.
Since my last post, my handsome nephew Jed paid us a visit from Atlanta-ish.. We had a great lunch at my town's newest Mexican restaurant and caught up on each other's news. I hope to see him again soon. Unfortunately, the news was skimpy on my side. That's why I don't have anything else to report in this post. Except this----
Don't forget to vote on Tuesday, a week from today--unless you've already early voted. I want to say voting is even more important now that ever, but I won't say why, because I don't want anybody to get mad at me, and there are still a few who would.
What a wonderful fabric ornament - applause! I wish you well on the next ornament, too.
ReplyDeleteWe turned in our absentee ballots at our local library last week. I don't trust the USPS for this because our ballots which were mailed three weeks ahead of that primary didn't arrive to be counted until 3 days after the primary was over. Did our mailman or someone else at the USPS delay our ballots? Ever since, we've taken our ballots to the library for early voting.
Hugs!
Lots!!!!
