Everyone agreed that Vann's smoked pig shoulder/butt was some fine stuff. Combined with Marla's potato salad and homemade Italian bread, my baked beans, Paul C's home-grown tomatoes, and Mary Beth's sweet tea, it was enough to make us comatose for most of the afternoon. Oh, and we topped it off with slices of Marla's homemade pound cake with fresh strawberries and whipped cream. It was one of the best BBQ feasts I've ever experienced.
As you see, Sophie and Daisy got in on the feasting too. Sophie says there's nothing like PopPop's BBQ pig--shoulder, butt, or left hind foot.
