What About BOB?!?

Anita at Take Joy has honored Blackberry Creek with the Break Out Blogger Award.

I didn't know what qualified one for this award, so I backtracked and found a description of it on Bobbarama where I think it originated. Here's how "Bob" describes the award:

"This award casts a spotlight on bloggers who are just beginning to draw lotsa attention — the equivalent of a song with a bullet on Billboard’s Top 100 chart. Lotsa good posts. Lotsa good buzz. These bloggers are going places in a hurry."

Ooooo-weee! That's us, Sophie. Sophie says that's great, 'cause she really, really, really likes to go places, especially with PopPop on the four-wheeler.

And here's what Anita said about Blackberry Creek in bestowing this award on us: "Susan at Blackberry Creek, who writes about thrifting, quilting, crochet and the antics of the irrepressible Miss Sophie Belle Patterpaw, all with equal enthusiasm. I love seeing what she's found and made (and thinking, I could do that, too, maybe . . . one day, when I have some spare time . . . )."

I just think that's so neat? Don't you, Soph? Thanks, Anita. Woof! Woof! You have made us blush. (You can't see Sophie blush because of her hair, but I promise, she's blushing.

Now my job is to pick some bloggers for this award. Hmmmm. Lots of you have been drawing attention for a while now. This is going to take some time.
