Look what I did with two of the pink-striped placemats that I got during yard-sale shopping Saturday. I had planned to use all four and make two pillows, but when I put the one on the bed with my green comforter set and the rose pillow cases (also from yard sale day), I thought one was enough. So I'll have to think of something else to do with the other two placemats.
I took down the Shoo Fly quilt (that I made) that had been hanging behind the bed, and hung an antique Dresden Plate, purchased in Atlanta several years ago at Granny Taught Us How, a wonderful shop on Peachtree Road that sells vintage linens and quilts. I love the soft colors in this one.
When I get the king-size Antique Steps quilt made, I'll have to change everything again, but that's the fun of it, isn't it? Anyway, that's counting quilts before they're stitched, something I (especially I) should never do.
I have been doing laundry and cleaning and organizing all day, except for the few minutes that it took to make the throw pillow. I would love a nap about now, but I have several more things on my list to do today.

I love all the pinks and greens. You did a great job with the placemats.
When we first got married and for 18 years we had a pink room with a quilt I made. In the new house we have a green room. I want to make a quilt with greens and yellow but who has the time. I will be using my moms quilt during the summer which is more blues and pinks then greens.

Suze-
In the newest pic. of Soph, she's saying
"Shoo", all right, to you, me, etc. Cause
Soph is NOT going anywhere- she's staying
right on that quilt. Isn't she just the
cutest, smartest looking thing you've ever
seen??

I've been thinking about having a quilt on the wall behind my bed and you have given me the push to do something about that. Your antique quilt is lovely and really finishs your bedroom!
