I notice everyone is making Apple Crisp (or something akin to it) in celebration of the season. So that's what I did yesterday.
I made mine the easy way, starting with a container of Country Crock Cinnamon Apples and adding a simple topping of brown sugar, margarine, flour, and quick-cook oatmeal.
Served with a scoop of vanilla ice cream, it was a great ending to the day.
I didn't do much else yesterday; still recuperating from the yard sale. But I feel rested and raring to go today, so I'm going try to get in a full day of sewing. I want to finish up the Give Thanks banner this week so we can hang it before Sunday. Wish me luck.

Yum! I made an apple pie with the only six or seven apples from our little tree on Sunday.

Hi Susan...just discovered your blog and I like it very much. Every time I have a yard sale, I say it will be the last one. Used to do two a year when I was younger...but like you, now I am just too pooped after. Now I sell at an Antique Faire once a month. Park the truck right next to me so unload and load-up is a cinch. Only takes one day to recover instead of the whole week!
Thanks for sharing part of your life with us.
