I'm sitting here checking my e-mail, and I look down. Lying there in the middle of the clutter on my desk is a stack of gift tags left over from Christmas. On top is one picturing a pretty white dove with an olive branch in her mouth on a blue background. "Wouldn't that make a pretty quilt?" I say to myself. Dove? Olive branch? Peace? PEACE QUILT! It took a few minutes for the full idea to take shape, but now I have it. This tag is the inspiration for my February journal quilt. I know the plan was to use Hubble space shots for each quilt, but plans change. And I think this one just did.
