Every fifth Sunday, our church holds a fellowship potluck luncheon. Today being fifth Sunday, we're looking forward to a great lunch, since Leeds First United Methodist ladies are known as great cooks.
Last night, I made this Peach Jello Bundt Cake to take. I also made Crock Pot Pork Roast (still in the pot), and this morning I put a dish of French Onion Brown Rice in the oven. I think I can smell it cooking.
Oh, and look what I found at America's Thrift Store in Centerpoint on Thursday. Three great Christmas plates to begin my collection.
I've planned to do this for a long time--collect plates in various designs to set my Christmas dinner table. Very Martha Stewart, you know.

That peach cake looks divine. You'll have to tell us how it tastes...
All my plates match. I'd love to have everything not alike.

Hmmppff! I have Christmas plates, too, girls. Mine say "Dixie" pm 'em and I don't
have to wash OR store 'em after dinner!!
Um, did you let Soph lick the bowl after you'd made the Bundt cake????????

Your cake looks, and sounds delicious. Gosh I love oven baked French Rice. I've never had it made with brown rice though, only white. How about sharing your recipe? xoxo
