Well, whatever it is that's "been going around" stopped here this week. Some kind of intestinal virus hit me on Wednesday afternoon and laid me low. I haven't been able to make it up the stairs to get online until this morning. I feel a bit better this morning, and hope the worst has passed. The good news is that I've lost quite a few pounds since Wednesday (which I'll probably gain back as soon as I can stand the thought of food).
Cait and Kathryn visited during the ordeal. Wasn't much of a visit for me or for them. I was mostly in bed, on the sofa, or in the bathroom the entire time. They went back to Atlanta yesterday.
While I was laid up on Thursday, Alabama was hit by terrible tornadoes. At a high school in Enterprise, 8 children were killed. I am so sad for everyone who lost loved ones and property and I thank God that we were not affected.
I'm going to lie back down now. I feel barfy.
