This is what I see out my kitchen window. It's even more lovely in person: the leaves are more intensely colored than the camera shows.
This afternoon, we travel to Glencoe, Alabama for the wedding of our friend Chris. Our son Phillip and Chris grew up together. I have a new outfit, the first one I've bought in a while, and I plan to look spiffy. I also bought two pairs of PJs, my attire of choice, but Vann won't let me wear PJs to the wedding.
We're looking forward to the drive to Glencoe through the foothills of the Appalachians. The foliage is almost at peak here. I know the mountains will be lovely.

Oh, lovely! You're so lucky . . . all I see when I wash dishes is a bird feeder and the disreputable garden.

Your trees are beautiful! Thanks for sharing. Enjoy the wedding. You might as well wear pajamas, people wear anything these days. Maybe you would start a new fashion trend, lol.

Oh you are so lucky with this window view!
I remembers me when I used to live in Ushuaia ( the southest city in Argentina) Please post more photos of this view when the weather changes, it's a present for our eyes.
