DR. RACHEL, with with the help of her new medical assistant Snuggles, performs the all important cat scan on Sophie. Since Soph endured the procedure with quietness and dignity (and a dirty look or two), Dr. Rachel said there would be no charge for the cat scan. (Thank goodness! I hear those things are expensive.) She promised to call us with results as soon as Snuggles has his nap.
BUT SERIOUSLY, we're off the Prednisone. Soph took her last dose today. Dr. Rachel decided against her annual shots for now. She doesn't want to do anything that would trigger another immune system problem. The only negative about the visit was when Soph stepped on the scales--23.9 pounds, a gain of about 2 pounds. She hated the scales. I know how she feels.
We are so happy that our girl is her old self again

Yay! I am glad Sophie is doing better. But doesn't she look just miserable on that examination table? Poor baby.
