A Dog Day Giveaway (Closed)

UPDATE: The winner is "To Know Him." Thanks to everyone for entering.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

The funnest things is going on over at Rocks in My Dryer: The Dog Days of Summer Bloggy Giveaway. You should go and check it out. There are literally hundreds of neat items up for grabs. Here's my giveaway to add to the pile: a brandnew copy of Christmas With Southern Living 2004, still wrapped in the cellophane wrapper. All you have to do to be in the drawing and to win this book is to leave a comment to this post in which you name the best book you ever read and the author. Blackberry Farm's own Miss Sophie will do the honors. She'll draw a winner on Friday, July 27 (my sister Ramey's birthday, btw). Good luck to all. ****************************************************************************************** 08487275252_2

P.S. You do NOT have to have a blog to enter or win this drawing. Sorry, no entries outside the U.S. please.

I'm in :)

The best book I've ever read? That's a tough one! I'd have to say, when I was a kid I read a book called "The Blue Sword" by Robin McKinley. I LOVED it. I've read that book more times then any other book. Although, as an adult, it's not as "good" as it was then, I still have a special place for it in my heart :)

I don't even know where to start with my favorite book..."My Sister's Keeper" is great, but I can't think of the author right now...

Thanks for hosting a giveaway!

Ha, ha, I'd like to name one of my own as the best book I've ever read, and myself as the best author. But...if I really have to say something, I'll say "To Kill a Mockingbird" for my best book of all time and Stephen King as my best author.
BTW, did I say thanks for joining in my giveaway? Thanks!

Thank you for offering your visitors a prize:) My favorite book is The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks. I just finished another of his books, A Walk to Remember last week and enjoyed that also. And growing up I enjoyed Anne of Green Gables more than any book I'd ever read. I'm a bookworm:)
