This is the result of several days in the sewing room trying to create gifts for my book club members. The video looked so simple to do. But nothing is ever simple in my hands. I think I have it now though. I only have five more to make, and a week to make them. Wish me luck. (Note: I can post this here because I'm pretty sure none of the book club members read my blog--or even know I have one.)

How pretty and so wonderfully festive!! I hear you on finding it harder to make than the video hinted it would be and imagine it takes immense concentration. Wishing you well at finishing the other 5 and know your friends will love receiving them. You'll be an expert by the time you've made all of these, so maybe the rest of your family and friends will receive one, too! Or not!!
