Busy Days

GFQ - 1 (1)
I picked up the Girlfriend Quilt from Angela the Longarm Quilter on Thursday (or was it Friday?). Anyway I've begun stitching down the binding. But I had to put it aside to finish my book club gifts. I have them all done except for stitching down the binding. I would have finished last night, but my eyes don't do too well at night, and I had to give up when I could no longer see the thread. So I watched several episodes of "The Madness" on Netflix instead. If you like a good thriller, you should love this one.

I found out a few days ago that I have to be in charge of our book club meeting on Tuesday. Sister Ramey, who is usually our leader, is sick with COVID. She's much better now but doesn't think she'll be up to doing book club. That means I'm in charge of food and leading the discussion. Another member is helping with food. I'm going to make a crockpot of soup and purchase a dessert, and the other member is bring her special Christmas salad.

Oh and yesterday was Vann birthday. I hope they have four-wheelers in Heaven. If so, I'm sure he and Miss Sophie took a ride around the place to celebrate. I hope they let Skipper go with them.

Wonderful and delightful Girlfriend quilt and well done in getting on with the binding!
Applause on being almost finished with the Book Club gifts and I hear you on thread becoming difficult to see in waning light. Hope Ramey is on the mend as Covid is no fun any time, but having it so close to Christmas is just no fair! Good plans for the food.
A belated Happy Birthday to your dear Vann and wish you could step into that photo just briefly to give both Vann and Sophie hugs.

Hugs for you!
