Against the Wind

"I'm older now but still running...against the wind." --Bob Segar

Curtains - 1

It took me only a little over a week to get six curtain panels hemmed. Not too long ago, I could have done it all in a couple of hours. I'm not showing the hems because they aren't exactly even. The fabric was so hard to deal with. The weave is so open that the fabric is very unstable and won't be still--not as I measured it, not as I pinned it, and not as I sewed it. (I couldn't make the non-sew tape work at all.) But most of the hemlines are behind chairs and tables, so I don't think the small differences will matter.  Well they certainly don't matter to me enough to do them over.

TacoAs you see, Taco is still enjoying his favorite activity.

Well done in getting the new curtains hemmed ... and good enough!

Love your cross stitch Garden Poem as that's been one of my favorite poems since I first read it decades ago.

Methinks I would curl up next to Taco!

Hugs!

well that explains why so many curtains "puddle" on the floor. That is one way to avoid the issues you tackled! My Taco, named Lisbeth, is snoring loudly as I type...the only thing she enjoys more is dinner!
