The Gabapentin is working. The pain and tightness in may feet are muchly improved. I can walk without pain. I'm not overdoing it, but I am getting a few things done that I wasn't able to do before the Gabapentin. I feel like a new person.
Of course the drug hasn't done a thing for my back. You'd think it would if it's all nerve pain. But nothing doing.

I walked into my bedroom (painlessly) this morning to make bed bed, and this is what I saw (above). Taco and Bella have not snuggled together (at least I haven't seen them do so) for years--not since they were very young. So this was sweet to see.
Below are photos of the kitties when they were much younger and enjoyed sleeping together. They aren't in any particular order--just as I found them on my computer.

What charming photos of your two fur-babies!
So goad to hear that the Gabapentin is helping with the foot pain and enabling you to walk!! Now to direct it to your back ... wish!
Hugs!

My son has been visiting, from another state, so I haven't read your blog for a couple weeks. I was laughing when I read about your shopping trip to Walmart and you waiting for the restraining order. I can picture the disaster that followed your cart. All we can do is laugh and keep plugging away. Aging has given me a lot of compassion for anyone disabled. I know what it's like.
So glad Gabapentin is working for you. Before my epidural, I took Gabapentin and it didn't help my back. I'm glad it has helped the pain in your feet.
Have a great rest of your week and be sure to wear a mask when shopping at Walmart! They won't recognize you.
