Doggies Catching Treats

Puzzle Done - 1

This was one of my Christmas presents from Andy. I have been working on it all of this week. Because of all the black and dark areas, I thought it was going to be another "Starry Night" (remember that puzzle disaster last year?). But it turned out to be just challenging enough to be interesting but not enough to make me pull my hair out.

It has been very cold and dreary here this week. Lots of rain too. Areas just north of Birmingham have already had snow this winter. I think we had a little sleet one day before Christmas. I need to hang my snowman quilt, and maybe that will encourage a nice snowfall.

So far, the Christmas tree quilt "Happy Holiday" is still hanging. I also haven't dismantled my book tree yet. I'm thinking seriously of leaving it up, just changing the doo-dads on it from Christmas to generic.

BTW, I've finished up my Books Read in 2020 list (left sidebar). When I've read about 25 more pages in my current book, I'll start my Books Read in 2021 list.

I hope everyone is having a good weekend and staying well.

I love that puzzle and the expressions of happy anticipation on the faces of the dogs!
It seems to me that all of our old puzzles are still packed from our move here but I cannot imagine where to look for them. Perhaps I need to get some new puzzles as we no longer have cats who would delight to lose puzzle pieces.
Thanks for the book list and info about each book. As usual, you like far more scary books than I do. :)
Hope your snowman quilt brings your area a lovely snowfall. We've had only a dusting of snow that fell in early December. If you can believe it, central TX had snow yesterday!

Hugs!
