Baby Sage

135530853_10158251989967982_4678678121341109527_oHere is sweet Sage Birdsong with Granny Buffy (I think actually Buffy prefers B.B. as her grandma name.)

I finally got Sage's quilt to Lena for quilting. We picked a pretty pink quilting thread and a cute looping quilting pattern. Lena promised to have it finished post haste--at lease before Sage enrolls in college.

I haven't seen the sweet thing in person yet. No one is allowed in her presence except parents and grandparents. Distant great aunts, and even great grandparents, have to wait until the pandemic is over. Ramey hasn't even seen her. She might well be enrolled in college by the time that happens from the looks of things.

I haven't done anymore sewing since my last blog post. Andy gave me a fun doggy jigsaw puzzle for Christmas, and I've been working on that when I'm not lying on the couch or cooking or doing laundry.

The chronic pain has migrated to my hips and legs, making getting around even more of a problem. I've had the leg and hip pain for a long time, but it has been intermittent. Now it's constant, unless I'm lying  down. I'm going to call the pain clinic and see if it's been long enough since the last ablations that I might get another one. Not that they did a heap of good, but at least I'll feel like I'm trying.

What a darling wee baby Sage is and it's clear that BB couldn't be happier or more proud! Well done in getting the quilt to Lena and it's good that binding can be done while sitting down.

Hope the pain clinic can relieve your hip and leg pains as that's surely no fun to endure. Does a heating pad help at all?

I've not gotten much sewing done either because of the other things that must be done: laundry, dishes, cooking for DS2, and such. Our Christmas things are packed up but the boxes are still in the living room. Went to the library and grocery this afternoon, so there's no energy left for now.

Hugs!
