Tomorrow will be my dad’s 109th birthday. He was born July 4, 1911. He passed away in January 15, 1977, and his presence is greatly missed.
We’re not planning any celebration. My sister and I are both in the age group for which the virus is most dangerous. Maybe Jesse and I will order some BBQ from Rusty’s BBQ and pick it up. I haven’t really thought about what we might do, knowing there wasn’t going to be a family gathering.
I am still working diligently on the rosettes for the millefiori quilt. Here’s one of the finished ones. I have a couple of more finished but no photos yet. And I’m working on two more. I can almost see the light at the end of the tunnel, as it were.
Happy Independence Day to all. Be blessed and stay safe.

Susan, Your rosette's are so pretty and each has it's own beauty and are truly yours. Such care in the fussy cutting! We too are celebrating in a very quiet and limited way Hope you enjoy that BBQ and have a Happy Fourth! Jeanne

What glorious millifiori rosettes you've made and are making! The fussy cut pictures are fun to find!
My father's 110th birthday would be July 13. He died March 9, 1983 and I still miss him and his wonderful laugh.
Hugs!
