Today is my daughter Angela’s (Andy) birthday. She took the day off from work to celebrate. She’s coming over for a birthday lunch--her favorite, spaghetti with meat sauce, garlic/parmesan bread, and salad. I also made a cake, the traditional family favorite--yellow cake with chocolate frosting.
The house is rather messy, but Andy won’t care. I have used all my spoons this week doing laundry, buying groceries, and feeding us. The Merry Maids come Monday--just in time to avoid disaster.
Wow, there comes some sunshine out my front windows! North Alabama got snow yesterday. We just got more rain.

Happy Birthday, Andy! Hope you enjoyed your birthday dinner and cake.
Yes, she's clearly her mother's daughter!
Hugs!
