The Scream

MU1091-1000x1000

I’m sure most of you are familiar with Edvard Munch’s painting “The Scream” (above). And, like me, you might have seen parodies of this piece. Well I saw one this week in a local doctor’s office that is my all-time favorite “Scream” parody (below).

Scream2

I question why a medical doctor, especially a podiatrist, would choose to hang such a work in his office, but there it is. And I love it so much, I’m putting it in my idea file to perhaps parody my own self someday into a quilt.

I've always found The Scream by Edvard Munch upsetting as it seems so fearful but I do love Lucy's Scream as that's something I can relate to. Do love your current photo from childhood as I can relate to that, too! :)

In the doctor's office perhaps Lucy's scream helps relax the older patients as they wait?!

Hugs!
