Kitty Kat Paper Doll

DSC_0002
Look what my sister made for me for the “Trick or Tree” Halloween quilt. For now, though, he’s hanging on my tier stand on the dining room table. I think he looks good there, but I’ll probably move him to the quilt eventually, since that's what Ramey made him for.

I have half of the “Bite Me” quilt top put together. As some of you said, after I got the side triangles cut and placed, it was pretty clear that layout #3 in last week’s post was the way to go. I thought I would finish it up today. But I sewed a row on backwards, had to unstitch it and restitch it, got aggravated, and decided to put it on hold until tomorrow.

Our country’s crisis has me with great anxiety and sadness. I know some of you wouldn’t agree, but I despise the danger and chaos this situation has put us in. If you like it, that’s your right. I’ll never understand, but it’s still your right. As for me, I’ll just pray and hope that someday we get back on track.

Agape.

How cute is that cat?! Clearly, this sister needs to make these for sale on etsy. I'd like a Boris, please if she'll take pre-orders!

Bummer about sewing the row on backwards. I've done that several times recently and wonder how - after all these years - could I make such a dumb, basic mistake like that. You're not alone, my friend.

Hugs!
