Bountiful Show & Tell
Bee at Sally’s house yesterday was great fun. That’s Sally in the photo above, holding the project she is currently working on. Aren't her hand appliquéd circles just perfect?
We enjoyed an abundance of show and tell. I had planned to take my “Star-Spangled Summer” quilt, which I finished binding just in time. But I left the house without the quilt and didn’t think of it until I was halfway to Sally’s. Ah the mind, how I miss it.
Today I have a dentist appointment to start on a getting a new crown on a bottom tooth. A couple of week ago at my checkup, Dr. S found a small cavity where the tooth and gum meet. He said in order to do the job right, he’d have to not only fill the cavity but also take off the old crown and replace it. Otherwise he said some of the cavity could be missed. I haven’t had a cavity in decades. I don’t look forward to the drilling.
Below are photos of the rest of our show and tell from yesterday. Thanks to Cyndi W. for her excellent photography skills and her generosity in sharing. Doris gets the prize (if there was one) for the most projects shown this month, so I’ll start with her.
Wow! That’s a lot of work, Doris. She does her own quilting too with her long-arm machine. All those quilts are going to charity.
Below ar some of Sally’s finished quilts that she brought out for us to enjoy.
Martha brought this sweet little cuddle quilt (above). Love the fabrics!
Cyndi’s pen pal in Japan sent her this pretty handbag.
And, in return, Cyndi made this one for her Japanese pen pal.
Now off I go to the dentist’s chair!

Love the show and tell quilts! One and all are just wonderful and deserve applause!
Poor you. I don't like going to the dentist at all. Not one little bit. When I was 4 years old I bit my first dentist because he put his hands in my mouth!
Hugs!
