I haven't got around to working on the summer quilt yet. I've been busy this morning making this pillowcase for a Facebook friend. She is making pillowcases for use by the chemo patients where her husband goes for chemo. I thought it a wonderful cause and a way to use a smidgen of my fabric stash. I pray that whoever uses it receives healing and comfort.
I adore this rabbit fabric. I don't remember where I got. I only know I've had it for a long time.
I used the sausage/burrito/rollup pillowcase technique to make this. The instructions are rampant online. Just google one of those terms or all three. The technique is easy as can be, and you have no raw edges when you're finished.

Delightful pillow cases and what a worthy cause.
Am wishing all well who get these cheery pillowcases.
Hugs!

The rabbit fabric reminds me of Tula Pinks fabric designs. Your pillow case is lovely. Just using it will make someone feel better.

What a beautiful idea. I used that pattern to make holiday pillowcases for my grandchildren... they love them and they are so easy to make.
