Waste
We are truly a wasteful society. I ordered a Curvalicious quilting ruler from Amazon. This is the box it was delivered in just now. A box big enough to hold at a couple of gross of these rulers. Nothing else in the box. Just the one ruler wrapped in plastic.
But I am looking forward to using my Curvalicious ruler. One of the quilters at guild meeting had made a wallhanging using this ruler, and she brought it for show and tell. It looked like such fun, I decided to order the ruler. I don’t think I would have if I had known it would require so much cardboard to mail it to me.

Ha..... I too placed an order with Amazon - can't remember what - but it too arrived in a huge box. I thought at the time Y-gads what a waste. It's a good thing I have Prime or I would have been extremely annoyed to have paid for the extra packaging. On the other hand just received a book that was loosely packaged and in terrible condition (book wouldn't lay flat). Promptly returned it in that huge box mentioned above with the bad packaging included. Go figure. Enjoyed your post.

Amazon encourages you to leave packaging opinions about your order. I get email requesting that all the time. You may want to go in to your Amazon orders and leave your comments.

We, too, have been amazed at the huge boxes we get. It feels like we've been sent a box of air. What are folks in the shiopping dept. thinking??
Interestingruler.
Hugs!

One of my pet peeves, too. Why do they do that?
