Heart Matters
All the heart blocks are fused, but not all of them are stitched. I also have all my sashing strips cut and now have to cut the cornerstones. This quilt is going together a lot faster than I thought it would. I'm sure I could finish it up in a few more days if I could devote my waking hours to it. But, sad to say, that doesn't seem to be possible. Matters arise, Skipper barks, pain worsens, fatigue ensues, phone rings, laundry awaits, somebody's hungry. So it will be finished when it's finished. Whenever that might be, I think this is going to be one of my favorite quilts.
But right now, I'm going downstairs and pay some attention to my doggy before he pops a gasket.

This "Dear Heart" quilt is utterly charming! When I was a child, our elderly German neighbor lady called all of us little girls dear heart and I loved that. Still do.
Hugs to you, dear heart! :)

It is beautiful Susan and I can certainly see why it would be a favorite. Wishing you better and pain-free days ahead so you can finish it and begin enjoying it.
