I made it to guild meeting yesterday, got my quilt show entry forms turned in, sat through our business meeting, and saw a little bit of Show and Tell before I had to leave. Sitting on metal chair hurt, and standing for very long is impossible. So I finally gave up and came home--but with several show-and-tell photos to post.

Beautiful Red-and-Pink Orange Peel

Sweet little campers. I love the fly swatters, and I think they have a story. But I missed it.

Underground Railroad sampler. Each block was significant to the freedom highway known as "The Undergound Railroad."

Each state is made from a fabric that shows some significant thing about that state: e.g., Georgia peaches, Florida sunshine, Iowa pigs. The border fabric shows state auto license tags.

Beautiful and very fancy mermaid

What wonderful quilts, one and all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you!!
I wonder if taking one or two pillows with you would help you be more comfortable in those metal chairs?
Hugs!

Susan, I'm very impressed with your hearts with the addition of curvey, colorful shapes. Your guild show and share was impressive. Loved the neutral gray quilt and the colorful mermaid - opposite ends of the color spectrum. Glad you felt well enough to get out a bit, and do some stitching as well, even tho endurance is an issue.
