Today I’ve been working on getting labels on my quilt backs. Every quilt entered in the show must have a documentation label. In past years, we weren’t required to put our address and phone number on the labels, but we are this year. I wasn’t aware of that (I probably knew at some time and just forgot), so when I made two of these labels, I didn’t include that information. So instead of remaking the entire labels, I just added little patches below the labels with my address on phone number. Uh oh! I just realized that the Farm Life Sampler quilt label does not have the title of the quilt, which is also a requirement. Gotta make another patch.
I have to bind and label my Bonnie Hunter “Turkey Trot” wallhanging, and I have to sew hanging sleeves to all four quilts. Then I think they’ll all be ready for the show. But right now, I have to go and start some supper. Jesse just came home early from work.
