Some of you longtime readers of my blog might recognize these blocks. I constructed them with a charity quiltmaking effort in mind some time back. After I completed the blocks, I apparently lost focus on that project--probably thanks to another project that got me all excited. Who knows which one? They all do.
Anyway as I was putting away things after finishing up Jesse's quilt top, I ran across these blocks and decided I would make them into a cuddle quilt for my guild's charity program before I get started on something else of my own. I can imagine a teenage girl would love this quilt. I'm not sure the rows are in their final order in the photo. I have to look at a photo of a rainbow and see if I have them correct.
I have been trying to get to the sewing room all week, but things get in the way. It has been a stormy stormy week with several power outages, for one thing. Yesterday morning was very stormy. Then things cleared out briefly, and we had another round late yesterday afternoon. A hailstorm, wind, and rain were responsible for the last power outage, which lasted into the night. Today is cloudy and chilly.
Now, let's see how many of those heart blocks I can get sewn together.

Absolutely BEAUTIFUL pattern. I think I'll try making one myself. I have so many batik fabrics that I think will make a lovely quilt. I do wonder what size you made each block?? Hugs... from sheep ranch in Petaluma CA
