Morning Star Beginning

Row

I have one row of the Morning Star quilt finished (see above). Six more rows to go. I'm loving it. Those Blue Barn fabrics are so very gorgeous. Jesse just might have to let me keep this one for my bed and make him another. It's even prettier in person than in the photo. I'm also in love with this pattern and want to make another one by it. I love how the pieced sashing forms the stars. A really simple pattern make a gorgeous quilt.

Yesterday I picked up "Dancing Leaves" and "Autumn Charm" from Lena. Now they have to be bound, labeled, and sleeved. I left her with the three small quilts--the two Schnibbles and "Turkey Talk." She promised to have them ready by May so that I'll have time to bind and finish them up in time for the June quilt show.

Skipper's bugging me to come on downstairs with him now. So I guess I'm done sewing for today. More tomorrow.

Great 1st row of this pretty quilt! I'm glad to hear it; a joy to put together, too. :)

How exciting to have quilts back from your quilter and 3 more to look forard to soon!

Hugs!
