About a week after Christmas, just before the New Year, I took this quilt, “Family Portrait,” down from the foyer wall hanger...
,,,and replaced with with this one, “Slumber Party."
On the antique Singer sewing machine that sits underneath the quilt hanger, I displayed my sweet little snowman plate that I acquired from the thrift store several years ago, along with a photo of Baby Sophie on the day we picked her up in Warwick, New York, in March of 2002. I miss my sweet Sophie.

I always enjoy seeing your change over of decorations and quilts....they make me smile. I have a lot of snowmen items here too and used to put the Christmas away and leave snowmen out. Now that we have suffered thru some pretty hard winters here.....I put the snowmen quickly away too, hoping it will bring Spring that much quicker.! I am sure you are still missing Sophie....we are missing ours too. Hugs....Trudy

Both of those wall hangings are cute as can be, but I love that Slumber Party.
