I didn't have enough of any one fabric suitable to make a backing for "Dancing Leaves," so I stitched several fabrics together from my stash. The second one from the top and the last one on bottom are the fabrics that I used in the sashing and borders. So now, all is ready to go to Lena.
This morning, I made pumpkin bars for a going-away coffee we're having for our pastor and his family tomorrow after church. We also get to meet their new baby, James's little sister Lucy, who was born less than a month ago. we're going to miss this young family.
But now--well in an hour or so, I'm going to watch the Alabama Crimson Tide play Western Kentucky at Bryant-Denny is Tuscaloosa. I hope the results are even half as good as those last week, when the Tide beat USC, 52-6, or something like that.
