Autumn Charm

Charm1

I have amassed so much autumn themed fabrics that, after I finished the "Dancing Leaves" top I decided to make a charm quilt. For those who might not know, a traditional charm quilt is a one-patch quilt with every patch being cut from a different fabric. I chose the Tumbler patch for my charm quilt And to make things easier, I ordered a 6" acrylic Tumbler Template. Cutting the patches was easy as pie, using the template and my rotary cutter.

My next goal is to get the charms sewn together. Then I'm going to get back to work on the Dollhouse Quilt, I think. I haven't yet made my Halloween Tree wallhanging, so it might get snuck into before the Dollhouse, but it shouldn't take long. I figure I'll still have gobs of autumn fabrics after I make the wallhanging. They seem to be multiplying.

The tumblers are beautiful. I like that template, may need to look for that one.

Sorry I was not able to help with those tumblers----but looks like it wasn't hard with the template. We are still in the Black Hills with my sister. Temperatures have been in the 50's during the day. Wednesday we drive to Lynn's. It is 28 hours drive home from there. Should be at guild in October.
