Take a gander of the gorgeous cardinal fabric I acquired from Bill Locke of Montreal. I love cardinals and I love winter, so when I saw this on Bill's Facebook page, I had to order me some. I'm not sure exactly how or when I'm going to use it. But meanwhile, I can just enjoy looking at it.

Had to have it. Ordered yardage too. I like this style/print . My sister lives in Virgina - Cardinal is state bird. Seeing Christmas cushion covers!

About Me

Hi. My name is Susan, and I'm a lover of all things fabric related. When I first started sewing, in my teens, I made clothes. I learned to sew on a beautiful Singer treadle machine. I remember the first garment I made was a dress for the 4-H dress review when I was in Junior High.

In my 20s and 30s, I made almost all my and my children's clothes. I added quiltmaking in my late 20s, and gradually drifted away from garment making. I still make the occasional wearable, but most of my sewing time is spent on quilts.
