I probably should have used all dark fabrics for my leaf pieces.. There doesn't seem to be enough contrast between the leaf and the background. So I'll have to put this one aside for a day or two and come back and see if I still feel this way. If I do, I might have to remake it. We'll see. If not, then Block No. 18 is done.

Hi Susan, Just came across your blog by accident.
I'm a relatively new quilter but I do agree with you there
isn't enough contrast between leaf and b'ground.
Your other blocks are beautiful.
