I Fixed It

Cherries

The more I thought about that Cherries sampler block, the more I was certain that it would bother me forever if I didn't correct the error. So I took it apart and sewed it back correctly. Now I can move on.

I hope everyone had a good Mother's Day. Mine was great, even though I felt pretty puny all weekend. On Saturday, daughter Andy brought pizza and cheesecake, and we watched the movie "The Revenant," which was very good and extremely exciting. On Sunday evening, grandson Jesse took both of us out to eat at our favorite Mexican restaurant, where I had a huge taco salad.

Today was my quilter's guild meeting in Homewood, but I truly didn't feel like making the drive. It's about 20-25 miles from here to the Homewood Civic Center where we meet. So I stayed home and fixed my Cherries block.

I have been very lax about attending guild meetings this year. I know I need to attempt to do better. I just wish the drive weren't so far. Only two more meetings in this guild year. I hope to make at least one of them.

I would have had to fix it, too! Pretty blocks you've done!
