I ordered this book yesterday. I want to make that charming sampler quilt on the cover. I figure if I whip out just one of those blocks a week, I can have a quilt in a year's time.

Is anybody out there interested in a quilt-along? You would have to buy the book if you don't already have access to it. It's $29.99 at the online Fat Quarter Shop. Speak up if you'd like to participate.

Cute quilt and love the happy colors. What size are the blocks?

I'm such a slow-poke at piecing, quilting, and the handwork and have such a backlog of project UFOs and quilts I want to make, so I will have to regretfully decline your wonderful offer participating in the quilt-along. My English teachers have each probably turned over in their graves at that run-on sentence. :)

Speaking of a quilt-along, you've reminded me to hang my Halloween quilt made during Pat Sloan's OP challenge several years ago. 'Tis the season, so thank you!

Hugs!

I have that book! Don't think I could whip out one a week, what with a job and all, but I definitely want to work on maybe a smaller version for baby gifts. We have so many folks at work having babies! Maybe I could crank out one for your every four and come out with a small project!
