Best Laid Plans or Hillary

Benghazi_hearing
POTUS #45

I had every intention yesterday of getting an early start in the sewing room and getting lots of owls stitched. However, as I sat on the couch enjoying my morning coffee (after getting up late anyway), I got hooked on the Hillary Clinton Telethon, sponsored by a bunch of House Republicans, and I couldn't tear myself away. I sat there the entire 11 hours (well, part of the time I actually reclined) and watched the spectacle. I was by turns amazed, appalled, angered, tickled, and inspired.

I now believe that the President of the United States should always be a woman. We're stronger and smarter--at least judging by yesterday's performances of all involved. For instance, compare Donald Trump's whining and complaining about a three-hour debate with Hillary's appearance and attitude after an 11-hour vicious grilling. No contest.

At least now I know who I'm voting for next November. If you don't agree, that's fine. You won't get me to rant or rave or call you a Nazi or a Communist. All I ask is that if you post an accusation about the Hill, check your info first and don't post any propaganda, rumors, or lies. Thanks.

Now back to the owls.

So is it over, have they asked enough ?? and she answered enough to sooth everyone's feathers.... I mean really, after three years.... isn't that how long it has been, I think I saw that in the paper, how can you even be expected to remember minute details for heavens sake, give a person a break, grace under fire...

Amen, sister! Grace under fire, indeed.

Will email you a photo to - hopefully - bring a smile to your face at my Christmas quilt finished well before December arrives.

Whootie Hoo! Enjoy your owls!

Hugs!

I am neither Dem or Rep, but the lives that were lost are the lives that were under fire, not grace. Famous words, what difference does it matter will ring forever in the ears of their families. We need a Margaret Thatcher......sadly, USA hasn't come up with anyone of that caliliber.

HRC had my vote for sure after the debate. This ludicrous hearing was a gift to her......thanks Rebublicans.

I just feel so sorry for the families. I think they said 600 e mails asking for help and all were denied. Hillary said none ever reached her desk and the people from the state dept who with held these e mails did nothing wrong. Those men might have been alive if somebody anybody took action.
