Sundown in my hometown, Leeds, Alabama, looking west on Parkway Drive. Photo by Steve Goodson. No big happenings around here this weekend. I did a little yard work on Saturday, then watched some TV movies until time to feed Jesse and get him off to work. This was his weekend to work night shift.
Yesterday, my sister Ramey and I, along with nephew Reed and niece India, went to church. Then Ramey, Reed, and I went to Cracker Barrel for a pancake brunch. Then home, where I read until time to get Jesse's supper. Last night was his last night shift until next week.
Today is laundry and vacuum day. I've got the laundry going, but I'm stalling on vacuuming. That's one of my hardest jobs. But with Skipper and Sophie tracking in dirt and trash, I really should vacuum every day. But I don't.

Our vacuum is idle, too, as I'm just not inclined to upset an already painful left knee. Have no notion of what I did to make it hurt, but it does. Bother!
