A Quilter's Dozen

Here are the first twelve quilts I photographed at the quilt show last weekend. I have to rush because I have an appointment for a haircut in an hour, and I haven't even had a shower yet. So more quilts tomorrow--hopefully.

What a glorious array of stunning, marvelous quilts! Your fellow guild members are wonderfully imaginative and talented. Applause, applause!!

Thank you for sharing these quilts with us since most of us couldn't attend the quilt show ourselves.

I'm looking forward to the next installment of quilt photos but will be happy to revisit the quilts here again and again.

Hugs!

Such gorgeous quilts - I especially like the solar system one with the free form piecing- it reminded me of the earlier work of Jean Wells Keenan whose books I love. Lots of great inspiration..
I loved the Invention of wings by Sue monk Kidd- such a terrific read. I liked it so much that when I found a second hand copy I bought it and gave it to my mom( she also really enjoyed it).
Hope all is well with you,
warmest regards,
Anna

I like that space quilt too, Anna. I think it was part of the Japanese exhibit. We have a sister city in Japan (whose name I forget) and we exchange quilts for our quilt shows.

Sue Monk Kidd is one of my favorite authors. Her family and my inlaw family are acquaintances, and my MIL got me an autographed copy of Secret Life of Bees. My MIL's opinion of her work was that she used too much profanity.

Thanks for your comment.

Susan
