I thought that I might work on making the binding for my Little Pink Houses quilt today. But after I got up here to the sewing room I discovered that I didn't feel that well after all. So instead, I think I'll work on the block of the month for next months guild meeting. It will be a Churn Dash block. Aren't those pretty squares of fabric? They came in my pattern packet. I'm to use a white (not off-white, pure white) from my stash for the background. Not sure I have any white.

Churn Dash is one of my favorite blocks. I clearly remember as a new quilt who could join strips only their long sides and make HSTs that when I saw this block, I was elated to find it was one of the few blocks I could already make. Joy!
Have fun using these pretty fabrics and turning them in to your Churn Dash block. Hope you found the perfect white fabric in your stash so you didn't have to slow your momentum in order to go shopping.
Hugs!

Dear Susan,
You are having a good day! You will have bad days. Just give yourself permission. You are so important to the world. Remember your faith in Jesus Christ. Think of what He went through so that you could have eternal life. He did it for YOU. He did it for each one of us.
You are worthy just because you are productive. You are worthy because you are Heavenly Father's beloved child. I am 20 years into fibro. I honestly feel so much better now than when it first hit. I remember the weeks of stabbing pains in my feet and the first diagnoses of arthritis in each joint in my body (wrong!). I used to awaken in the night several times with horrible pain. Now I don't. My body has made great progress.
Just keep doing deep breathing. Think joyful thoughts. If you are having a bad day, maybe remind yourself that you got though another horrible day before. Look out your window to see that plant that survived a terrible winter. Find joy in the cute cats curled up together. Keep praying.
You sound so nice. I am sure the Savior is weeping alongside you. I will keep you in my prayers.
