Yesterday I got the hanging sleeve stitched in place on "Slumber Party." I also created a documentation label from a piece of snowman border fabric I found in my stash and stitched it on the back of the quilt. It's all finished, and I'm about to hang it in the foyer. Depending on what Old Groundhog decides tomorrow, we could have six more weeks of winter to enjoy my quilted snowmen.
I really should be using my spoons to do a little housework today, but I think I'd rather spend them on sewing. After all, I already made the bed and loaded and started the dishwasher this morning.
Happy Saturday and Happy February, everyone.
P.S. For some reason, I thought this was February 1. Just looked at the calendar and discovered my mistake. So Old Groundhog can sleep in a while longer before he has to wake up and check for shadows.

It's so good to see that you are feeling better and able to do the things you love doing. I agree, sewing first!

Cheers that you finished the snowman quilt before the wintertime is over! I still need to machine quilt Arctic Blast that I made nearly a year ago. Hang my head.
Your Snowmen label is a perfectly adorable finishing touch your charming Slumber Party quilt, too! Finding that border fabric at the perfect time was indeed serendipity!
I have at last sewed the binding on wall quilt #1 and am about to join the binding ends. Hope I can keep up my momentum until it's finished.
Hugs!

Great to hear you are feeling better. Of course you should put sewing first. You are my inspiration to finish my UFOs this year. Well, maybe 10 of them.
Have a fun week sewing. Patty Mc
