Poor Skipper

Skipper tore his dew claw again last night. First thing this morning, we were at the vet's. But the doctor had not come in yet, so we were sent home and told to come back at 2:00. We went back at 2:00, got Skip's injury tended, and now we're home. And we're both tired out. skip is removing his bandage (I'm surprised he has kept it on this long. The last time we did this, he had the bandage off before we got our of the clinic parking lot). I'm going to curl up on the couch with Skipper and read.

Awwwww! Poor Skipper, indeed! That's so many hours of you dealing wiht his injury that it's no wonder you and Skipper are both weary. You're a good doggy mommy, for sure.

Hope dinner is something easy so you don't have to get out your box of Scratch as my Dad used to say when making some dish from many ingredients.

Hugs!

Poor Skipper! Will he have an assistant to work on the China project while his paw heals?

I have two little rat terriers and one has problem dew claws too. She's having an issue right now. The other never has a problem. Unfortunately having them removed from adult dogs is major surgery. Hope your fur baby feels better soon.

This is the fourth time we've dealt with this. I wish whoever owned him when he was a baby had them removed.

Oh, poor little guy! He's got to stop that ferocious digging to China project. My Skippy (he was the color of peanut butter LOL) had both dew claws but fortunately never had any problems other than once or twice catching it on my favorite afghan's yarn.

Hope Skipper heals fast!
