My Roomies

Most nights, in order to get a wink of sleep, I have to shut Taco out of the bedroom. Otherwise he and the dogs keep me awake playing, fighting, and jumping on the bed.

When I open the bedroom door in the morning, Taco is often standing right there, patiently waiting to be reunited with his dog Sophie. After the dogs have their morning trip to the back yard, Sophie and Taco curl up in Sophie's bedroom chair and sleep like babies. Taco is worn out from standing by the door all night. Sophie just likes to sleep.

Skipper takes up his place in the patch of morning sunshine coming through the window. Bella is wherever Bella usually is, a secret place whose whereabouts she does not disclose.

Are pet pals the cutest? Also those who nap places follow the sunshine on the floor as the sun travels across the sky! Wonder what cozy, secret place Bella has found. Does she show up for meals?

We had glorious rain overnight!

I'm embarking on a mini-sewing room clean-up because I cannot stand in front of my small design wall at the present time. I am ready to put my baby 9 Patch blocks and alternate squares up to decide on block layout. The blocks are 13 different fabrics in 4 colors: blue, green, yellow, and pink. I dreamed that my planned outer border fabric was the backing, so may be choosing a different fabric for the outer border.

Hugs!

Hugs!

Oh, it's going to be so hard to separate Sophie and Taco when Jesse leaves. But it's go great they get along so well now and Sophie and Skipper have learned that cats aren't snacks.
