What a Morning!

It started out with more laundry. Any household task takes me about ten times longer to do than in the days BP (before pain). I also got the sheets changed on my bed--another chore that used to be simple and is now an ordeal--especially since Taco and Skipper insist on "helping." And I swept the kitchen of dirt, sticks, and leaf parts tracked in by doggie feet and picked up doggie toys strewn about the living room and dining room.

Steve came early to do the lawn work. While trimming some hedges that had got the upper hand on the landscape, he cut the cable to one of the tvs. He called his dad to run and purchase a splicer, and got that fixed.

Skipper's Mining Operation
All during the hoop-de-do, Skipper was in the backyard working on his route to China. It's far muddier than this now since we've had rain
the last couple of days.

So I had to give Skip a bath to remove the mud from his entire body. While I was doing that, Sophie ate all of Taco and Bella's cat food from their bowl, which Jesse keeps in his bathroom where I was bathing Skipper since my jacuzzi tub is not suitable for dog bathing.

After all the morning's work and excitement, my back feels like someone has beat it with a hammer. So I'm going to lie down now and read.

Skip

What's the big deal? A little mud never hurt nobody.

Oh, my goodness! You've had more than your fair share, but I congratulate you on all you accomplished! You deserve a good rest, lunch with your feet up, and followed with some achy body medicine like Bayer Back and Body to help ease the aches.

I suggest closing the bathroom door when bathing Skipper and that would end Sophie's purloining of the cat food. Of course, who knows what other chaos the 3 exiled family members could get into while you and Skipper are safe on the other side of the door>

We've had a lot of rain, too, but that suits me just fine.

Hugs!

That spurt of energy you expended is a direct result of homegrown squash and cucumbers!!!!! ;)

That Skipper's been a trip from the beginning!!! He's so dang cute though. Who could not love him. He's got spunk and I like him. If you could just channell some of that energy!!! Hope you feel better soon.
