Birmingham Quilters Guild's Quiltfest 2013 begins today at Oak Mountain Middle School on Hwy. 119 in Shelby Country, Alabama.
Around 400 quilts are on display. Also a vendor's mall, demonstrations, and chances to win many fine items.
Come on our and be awed.

Oh, I wish Scottie could beam me up because I'd beam down to come to Quiltfest in a heartbeat! I'd bring AMIL, too, so we could see all of the delicious eye candy, be awed, be inspired, and meet you! I'd give you some real hugs to replace the many virtual hugs I've left at the end of my comments.
Hope you can take some photos to post and that you feel energized and not bothered in the least by pain so you can enjoy the show start to finish. Do you plan to attend today when the crowds might be smaller than they will (hopefully) be over the weekend?
Hugs!
