This morning, I have the honor and privilege of introducing you to a brand new book called Quick & Easy Hexi Quilts, authored by two of my dear friends and guild sisters, Dr. Peggy G. Rhodes and Julia C. Wood--or as I like to call them, Peggy and Judy.
In Quick & Easy Hexie Quilt, the authors teach you a new technique for making hexagons, a technique which, as the title promises, is indeed quick and easy. It uses circles cut from fabric, a needle and thread, and nothing else. One hexie can be stitched up in a matter of minutes. And you can make your hexies any size, depending upon the size of your starting circle.
You'll be amazed at how quickly you can turn a stack of fabric circles into finished hexagons.

I really love this book. Hexies are intimidating so this is a relief to that....yay!! I cant wait to have a copy.

Hope you are feeling better. This new hexie method seems more doable to me. then you do not have to remove all the little pieces of paper when you are done. I would like to give it a try.
