"This is my Grannies room," says Dollhouse Quiltalonger Laura. "I made the bed in such a way that my dollies can actually slip into it. My Grandpa called it Granny's 'Queen' bed because it was quite grand, enamel with carving and big (for those days--no king size yet). Besides, this was where the 'Queen of this house sleeps,' he explained."
I'll be emailing out the next block in the Dollhouse Quilt soon. Watch for it.

Oh how cute!! Cats have a way of possessing their owners, don't they? Looks like Taco has won Skipper over. The quilt square is beautiful.

Laura's Grannie's Room block is wonderful! I love the scrolling of the bed and night stands and the box of Kleenex is the perfect touch! Might we see the bed with a dolly under the covers, please? How creative is it for the room's resident to be able to tuck into bed?!
Love Frick and Frack's casual cuddle!
Hope you're feeling lots better!
Hugs!
